When you first start your yoga business, everything can be really new and exciting. It can take you a while to find a rhythm with how you’re going to do everything. But, as you get everything set up and going, and things are going really well, you may be thinking about what you can do next to grow your business. And that’s only natural.
When you’re ready to take things to the next level, you may not know what kind of move is best to take next. And that’s okay. Because when everything is very new to you, it can be scary to figure out what you’re going to do. First, you may need to look into business financing companies to know if you can actually get anything started. But when you have the money available, you need the ideas. So here are five to get you thinking.
- A New Branch
The very first thing on this list is something that you may have already thought about, but it can feel like a big step. But setting up a new studio or a new branch is always going to be a good idea. If you know that you’re popular where you are, and others ask you if you have any other locations or if you’ll set up in X area, then there’s the demand – so go supply! You may even want to do ‘pop up’ or mobile studios if you want to test the waters first.

- Online Classes
Another really great idea will be to offer online classes. If you are building a following for yourself online, then why not bring your classes to the people online too? A lot of the time, people can’t always attend classes at set times, but they may be able to livestream classes at home. Or even watch recorded classes as a part of a program. So give this idea some serious thought.
- Selling Products
Next up, you could always think about launching your own products. Take a look at some of the most popular wellness products that are around today and think about the ones that you could have made to sell. You could then sell them at your studio or online.
- Hosting Retreats
Another really fun idea could be to start hosting some retreats for your clients. If you know that people would love to do a yoga retreat elsewhere – even overseas – then why not arrange one? It would be a business venture, so you’d want to make sure that you can get the supplies and accommodation you need at the right price and still allow for a profit margin to be in the cost too.
- Doing A Collaboration
Finally, you could also look to do a collaboration with another wellness brand that has a similar audience to you. A really great example of this would be to get a smoothie company to come in and sell their smoothies at the studio. You could rent the space out to them, or you could then host yoga classes for their audience as a trade. Either way, the cross over in exposure will help to grow your business.
