About M.B.Om
Hey, I’m Amanda! I’m the host & founder here at M.B.Om.
I’m a 500-hour RYT, a business graduate, a podcast host, and a world traveler.
I came to yoga from a marketing & business background, and after completing my 200-hour yoga teacher training in Canggu, Bali in 2015, I combined my love of business with my love of teaching yoga by starting Mastering the Business of Yoga (M.B.Om), a podcast and online business that helps yoga teachers create businesses that they love. I work with yoga teachers across the globe to help them build authentic businesses that are both sustainable long-term and financially abundant!
M.B.Om is a place for yoga teachers to realize their potential as entrepreneurs, to learn about the business side of yoga, and to learn how to be successful in the yoga industry. Each episode features a different topic and/or yoga teacher from around the world, with the intention of teaching the business-related topics needed to create, grow and expand your career as a yoga teacher. If you are looking to expand your offerings, branch into offering retreats or trainings, open a yoga studio, create your own unique brand, or simply learn more about marketing yourself and your offerings, this is your place.
Since launching M.B.Om in February 2016, I have interviewed over 150 yoga teachers and counting from across the globe, built out my signature courses Yoga Teacher Toolbox & Yoga Business Bootcamp, and completed my 300-hour yoga teacher training at the Vancouver School of Healing Arts, where I am now faculty teaching the Business of Yoga.
I have a deep passion for inspiring yoga teachers to create, grow and expand their yoga businesses, and I am so grateful that you have decided to join me on this journey! Before you go, be sure to check out the blog, subscribe to the podcast, and join the private Facebook community so that you don’t miss a beat.
Thanks for listening + namaste.
